Central & Western Labrador

Hwy 389 in the Winter

At the start of Hwy 389 in Baie Comeau

Along the paved part of Hwy 389.
The Manic 5 dam, at km 216.

Four-wheel-drive vehicles can slide off the road in the snow almost as easily as regular two-wheel-drive vehicles. The main reason being that they offer the unaware driver a false sense of security.
Passing alongside the low mountains from km 300 through km 375.
52nd Parallel, at km 407.
Heading east from Labrador City.
